At the Big Mountain Freeride Camp in Pitztal, we combine short ascents with long descents down to the bottom of the valley. Local ski guides explore the best lines with you.

Welcome & discussion of the programme for the next few days
Treffpunkt am Mittwoch, 25. Februar, um 8:45 Uhr an der Talstation der Pitztaler Gletscherbahn oder der Rifflseebahn. Nach einem Safety-Briefing und einer Besprechung der geplanten Tour geht es los. Unterwegs machen wir Rast auf einer der gemütlichen Hütten oder nehmen unsere Jause mit. Der Freeridetag endet ca. um 15:00 Uhr. Der genaue Tagesablauf hängt von den Schnee-, Wetter-, Lawinenverhältnissen und den persönlichen Voraussetzungen der Teilnehmenden ab.

At Saturday gehen wir nochmal Freeriden und auf Tour. Gegen 15 Uhr endet der Freeridetag.

- Backpack with ski attachment option (approx. 25-30 litres), optional airbag backpack
- Suitable ski touring boots with walking function
- Freeride-Tourenski mit Bindung (empfohlene Mittelbreite: 95 bis 110 mm)
- Fitting and well adhering clamping adhesive skins
- Telescopic ski poles
- Modern avalanche transceiver (avalanche transceiver, 3-antenna device) with new batteries*.
- Avalanche probe and avalanche shovel (made of metal)*.
- Adapted crampons with frontal jaws*.
- Harness*
- 1x Safelock carabiner (or 2x screw carabiner)*.
- Helmet
- Clothes suitable for the mountains, a change of dry clothes, 1 litre of liquid, snack / muesli bar, a change of gloves.

Das Big Mountain Freeride Camp im Pitztal wird veranstaltet von der VIVALPIN Mountain School GmbH & Co.KG and realised by the Skiing Tegernsee. I am allowed to accompany the trip as a guide.
